It’s hard to believe that I’m writing a review of corn tortilla chips. BUT, these Cabo Chips are awesome. Why? Because they have a great crispy texture and aren’t just salted, but are coated with a mixture of sea salt, lemon juice and soy sauce, which gives them their delicious umami flavor with a hint of sour.
Oddly they are almost identical to another brand, Have’a Corn Chips though I link to the other because you can buy them in fewer quantities. Oddly they are both manufactured in Orange County, California. It seems Have’a corn chips has been around for 20 years, though Cabo claims to have had the idea for 20 years. Hmmm. I suspect there is something more going on here – but who cares, I say dip and enjoy!
I recommend getting the 2 oz. bags because seriously, you can’t open a bag without finishing them. They also have them at Ralph’s, Whole Foods and other groceries.
$17 for 24 2 oz. bags
