100% post consumer modular wine rack
We have a lot of wine here at mmmStuff. We kind of like the stuff. But one thing we’re always trying to figure out; is how best to store it. There’s the whole temperature issue, humidity, light. All these things that can affect how the wines age. But beyond that, there’s simply the question of what to put them in.
Those clunky old cardboard wine cartons were fine for a while, but we’re getting older now, and if not more sophisticated, then at least a bit more anal retentive than we used to be. But we wanted to do something that was in keeping with our environmental conscience.
What we found were these babies. Made from 100% post consumer plastic – HDPE, the kind used for milk jugs (and grocery carts) among other things. They’re reasonably priced ($17 for a 6-bottle holder or by 6 at once for $105), compact, modular and are easy to tip on their side for storage – or bring them to your local wine store for a take home crate.
