We can now get the classic German Weck jars (like Mason jars, but…well…more Euro) to do what we want with. If you’re not familiar, these jars are usually used (like Masons) for jellies and jams and such, but because they look good and are sealable, you can use them to do all kinds of things. We have seem them on display with layered sands and succulets, filled with mosses and barks for that au naturel look or for serving yoghurt (with fruit on the bottom of course) at your next brunch. Be creative. One company is even making lights out of them.

We just love their simple, throwback style.

So, likely, will you.

Set of 4 $18.

These glasses are modeled after the seven deadly sins. Each has a unique design, each is handmade.

Sloth is a large decanter that has to be held over the drinker. Lust has a glass ball valve at the bottom that requires pressing with one’s tongue to move the liquid. Wrath is, well, dangerous. And greed has lots of Chihuly-esque blobs (that hold wine) that spill out from the side of the glass.

Very clever. Very unique. Limited edition.

You can buy the individual glasses separately, in sets of 4 or 6 (only 100 made for each). The entire set (as pictured) is also available (only 25 sets made).

Price – inquiries through Web site only.
